About PRO Tennis Academy - Al Safa
PRO Tennis Academy, located in Al Safa, is a premier destination for tennis training in the UAE, founded by the passionate Zohair Raza. Zohair's journey in professional tennis began in his twenties, where he carved out a successful career and achieved a remarkable Top 5 ranking in Asia after over 15 years of dedication. His extensive experience took him across Europe, Asia, and the Middle East, where he honed his skills and competed at the highest levels. An unfortunate shoulder injury led him to pivot from playing to coaching, allowing him to remain connected to the sport he adores.
Transitioning into coaching was a natural progression for Zohair. After obtaining his initial coaching qualification, he started training individuals of all ages, from enthusiastic children to competitive athletes. His background as a professional player provided him with invaluable insights into the technical, physical, and psychological aspects of tennis, enabling him to develop tailored training programs that cultivate players' skills, confidence, and overall fitness while fostering a love for the game.
In 2020, Zohair established PRO Tennis Academy as a specialized facility dedicated to making high-quality tennis coaching accessible to players of varying skills and ages. As the academy flourished, it became clear that players were seeking structured development opportunities beyond just individual lessons.
In response, Zohair crafted a detailed coaching curriculum that offers a clear, progressive pathway for player development. Today, PRO Tennis Academy is committed to providing top-notch professional coaching in the UAE, with programs tailored for beginners, recreational players, and serious athletes aiming to enhance their performance on the court.
